Nirro graduated with a Physiotherapy Degree from De La Salle - Medical and Health Sciences Institute in the Philippines in 2016. Before licensing in Canada, he worked as a Physiotherapist for almost 5 years at St. Luke’s Medical Center. “It is recognized as the leading and most respected healthcare institution in the Philippines”. There he gained substantial experience in treating patients of all ages with different conditions as to musculoskeletal, neurological, pediatrics, geriatrics, and cardiac rehabilitation.
Nirro is very passionate about life-long education and persistent to improve his skills and knowledge. He keeps himself updated with the new trends and updates in the Physical Rehabilitation treatments and assessments through continuing education.
His approach to care is based on a holistic patient-centered model that tailors exercise prescription, education about injuries and conditions, activity modifications, modalities and hands on therapy skills appropriate to his clients needs. He aims to help all of his clients return to, or better participate, in the activities that bring them joy and improve their quality of life.

Mira earned her Bachelor of Science, minoring in Kinesiology and specializing in Athletic Therapy from the University of Winnipeg in 2023. She then wrote the National Exam for Athletic Therapy in June 2024 to Certify as an Athletic Therapist. Mira’s interest in Athletic Therapy began when she was 14 and encountered her own sport related injuries while playing soccer. As she continued to play through University her appreciation for the profession grew while she played for the University of Winnipeg soccer team and found support and guidance through the Athletic Therapists assisting the team.
Mira values patient education and believes that it is an important driver in one’s recovery. She strives to provide her clients with a clear understanding of their injury and the recovery process, to help them get back to what they love to do. Mira uses a hands-on approach to her treatment, incorporating different manual therapy techniques such as massage, mobilizations and cupping, as well as exercise based treatment. She encourages physical activity to all her clients regardless of fitness level, age and ability and strongly believes that exercise promotes improved health and a better quality of life. Mira has experience creating strength and conditioning programs for both novice and experienced athletes for rehabilitative and performance goals and plans to certify as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) to continue her education and expand her knowledge of human movement and the physiology behind it.

Mandy’s university career began while on a tennis scholarship at Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee. She returned to Canada to complete her physiotherapy degree from the University of Manitoba in 2000, and has worked in private practice physiotherapy since then. In 2009 she began working at River Heights Physiotherapy and in 2014 she joined Amanda McLean as co-owner. She became a Certified Fitness Instructor in 1995, for years has taught a variety of fitness and yoga classes, and is a running enthusiast. Her passion and knowledge in sports, and exercise instruction have been invaluable to her physiotherapy practice.
Since the beginning of her career Mandy has followed current research and has done many continuing education courses to enhance her expertise in treating orthopaedic injuries from head to toe. She has advance training in treating jaw disorders, and has built up an extensive and rewarding practice in this area. Mandy is licensed to practice acupuncture and is trained in the management of osteoporosis. Consequently, she applies a wide variety of treatment techniques in the areas of manual therapy, specific therapeutic exercise, acupuncture, and education.
Mandy feels strongly about promoting the profession of physiotherapy. On multiple occasions she has been invited to educate other health care professionals about the role of physiotherapy in treating the jaw. She has taught back care education and exercise classes and educational seminars for walkers and runners.

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Manitoba. Megan graduated from the University of Manitoba at the top of her class in 2005. She spent the majority of the first part of her career at Pan Am Clinic. There she gained experience treating patients of all ages and activity levels, with both acute and chronic conditions. In 2012, Megan and her husband left Winnipeg and moved down to Peru for a couple years, returning in late 2014. They settled in River Heights, where they now live with their two young children.
Over the years, Megan has pursued continuing education in many fields including manual therapy, exercise prescription, neuropathic pain, biomechanical foot assessments and custom foot orthotics. She is also licensed to practice acupuncture and prefers to use a multi-faceted approach to helping her patients recover from injury to reach their full potential. Megan enjoys the teaching aspect of her profession and believes strongly in the value of educating her patients about their condition/injury, helping them take ownership of their recovery and play an active role in it.
In keeping with her choice of profession, Megan’s hobbies have always centered around active living. Running, road cycling, yoga, and walking the beautiful streets of River Heights help keep her busy when she isn’t working.
